• After a scare in the first round of the tournament to the 8^th seed Pekin, the Knights strolled through the next two rounds, 10 running both teams.  Josh Fitzgerald and Evan Paulus led the most potent lineup in the state combining for 29 home runs and helped them average over 10 runs per game.  Paulus and 8^th grader Doug Taylor won 16 games on the mound and struck out 133.
